The Acts of the Apostles

Key to Map

The Book of Acts (Luke part 2) begins where the gospels ends, with the pouring out of the promised Holy Spirit. The events in Acts take place over 25 years while the main characters—Peter, Paul, Barnabas, Timothy, etc.—travel from Jerusalem to Asia Minor to Europe, ending in Rome. In the center of the painting the disciples are gathered in Jerusalem, waiting to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The painting is arranged as a path, beginning in the center as the circle of disciples opens up into the Beautiful Gate and the disciples take their first empowered steps out into the world bringing healing, deliverance, and the truth of the Jesus to the world. All the main characters wear unique clothing so you can follow them along the journey and see as their lives intersect.

This painting is available as a fabric banner in the original 5’ x 7’ size or any smaller dimension to fit your needs, perfect for a Sunday School class or Bible Study group. The image is also available as a framed giclée print on canvas at 1/4 size (2 1/2’ x 3 1/2’). Contact Debby for prices and ordering information.
